RaeDeen was born in Pipestone, Minnesota, attended a rural school, Eden, in southwestern North Dakota and graduated from Bowman High School in 1982.  She graduated from North Dakota State University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural education and Extension.

     RaeDeen has held Extension or teaching positions in North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Arizona, Colorado, and Montana.  She has also worked in the hospitality industry.

     She earned the Distinguished Toastmaster award from Toastmaster’s International in 2003 while living in Colorado.  She is an officer of Columbia Falls Speaks Toastmasters and a member of St. Richard’s Catholic Church in Columbia Falls, Montana.  Her motto is “Lovingly I Serve.”

     In 2008, RaeDeen produced a Christian CD, “Lead Me, Lord.”  She served as an Independent Presidential candidate in 2008 and an “Interdependent” Presidential candidate in 2012.  She has completed some graduate work in tourism and elementary education from Black Hills State University in Spearfish, S.D.  June 2011 she graduated from World Wide College of Auctioneering in Iowa.  She enjoys reading, writing, knitting, gardening, playing piano, and playing cards.
